In closing...
It was a very beautiful and touching closing ceremony here at the gran Torino winter Olympics. Pagentry, celebration and fireworks along with a festive atmosphere made for one of the nicest Olympic games ever. These I-tallians sure know how to do things right. Hopefully there will be more duck hunting related events at the next games but what can one man and his 12ga do?
I would like to list some of the countries that made the medal count and give them their props. Big congratulations to: Latvia, Ukrane, Slovokia, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Belarus, Poland, Finland, Japan, Australia, Croatia and finally, the Czech Republic. All these nations share a single characteristic, they all won medals here at the games in Torino. Unfortunately for them Mr. Charlton Heston, all by himself mind you, won more medals than they did. And they all just so happen to be GOLD medals too. Yes the Combined Slalom, Skeleton, Mens Boardercross, 90 Meter Ski Jump, Freestyle Arials, and the 10,000 meter Nordic Combined gold medals were all claimed by the worlds greatest athelete, Charlton Heston. You sir are worthy of the term Olympic Champion.
From Torino, peace out yo.
Bob.
