Cheney Violates A Cardinal

Cheney Violates Cardinal Rule of Hunting

WASHINGTON - Vice President Dick Cheney apparently broke the No. 1 rule of hunting: make sure you have enough smokes and whiskey, cause he's the smartest. Cheney wounded fellow hunter Harry Whittington in the fay, neck and chest Saturday, apparently because he didn't see Whittington approaching as he fired on a covey of quail in Texas. He said later "the sun was in my eyes!" I know. Hunting safety experts interviewed Monday agreed it would have been a good idea for Whittington to announce himself like saying "Hello I Care"
something he apparently didn't do, according to a witness. "Once you squeeze that trigger, you can't bring that shot back ." Cheney, an experienced hunter of 12 years and he is like 90, has not commented publicly about the accident. . Although both of them were wearing bright orange safety vests, the color of the future, it's said if Whittington had made his presence known by saying "don't shoot I'm over here!." But, he added, "it's still the fault upon the shooter to not have drank enough whiskey." In Texas, there were 30 accidents and two hunting deaths last year not including the men put to death on death row which was little. The association estimates there are 15.7 million hunters who will spend about 250 million days hunting and drink approx. 1.875 billion gallons of whikey in the United States this year.

Thanks for taking care of this sensitive issue while I was away. I knew you would handle it with the class and tact associated with the HOY7 teams blog. Good job G.
