The Gossip Game

Well it's that time for this week's installment of "The Gossip Game." According to the game's rules, Mike Walker of The Enquirer tells four Hollywood gossip stories, only three of which are allegedly true. Then try to pick out the fake story. The following is the list of stories Mike read this morning:

(1) Ryan Seacrest is still so in love with one of his ex-girlfriends that he spent Valentine's
Day alone with his dog.
(2) Nick Lachey ran into Jessica Simpson's father, Joe, who told Nick that he'd get half of Jessica's money following their divorce "over his dead body."
(3) While candle shopping for his wife, Mel Gibson's beard caught on fire while smelling a lit candle. The fire was put out when a fellow shopper doused Mel with the contents of her water bottle.
(4) Nicollette Sheridan got trapped in a port-a-potty while attending a party, and her husband, Michael Bolton, had to break down the door to rescue her.
